He can get his boarding pass from counter agents, I'm not sure about SkyCaps though. I'm not sure what you mean by "NOT going to stand in front of that machine" though ... he won't use a kiosk?
Also, any new $$ info on carry on/checked luggage w/SWA lately?
No changes that I'm aware of, Bags Fly Free still.
