That's incorrect. $60K on the SPG Amex will get you 75K AA miles or 45K UA miles.

Transfers to AA are 1:1 and a 5K bonus is added for 20K point transfers. 20K SPG points == 25K AA miles.

Transfers to UA are 2:1 and a 5K bonus is added for 20K point transfers. 20K SPG points == 15K UA miles.
