A simple suggestion would be a Starwood Amex - $60K will get you 70K miles on UA or AA. But - there are other options:
Any interest in hotel programs? Can you use awards on other FF programs? Home improvements - is that like Home Depot/Lowe's, or are you contracting the work out or...? If you're spending it at home improvement stores, that $60K is now worth 120K miles on a lot of airlines (not AA or UA) or 240K Hilton points. The more information you can provide, the better
