It does appear you need a stay to kick the new (old?) algorithm. When I saw the post earlier this week about a March 2010 expiry I checked my account and it still said Sept 2009. I had a stay Sunday night post yesterday and this morning it says expiry is March 2010. So it looks like we are back to the old, new system (sort of since it is March not April) Sure would be nice for Hilton to figure all this out! However, I do think they have to go to this or the old old system of the calendar year or they actually are inferior to other programs for folks who happen to have a lot of stays early in a year (as has been previously discussed in this thread).
