There actually are five major carriers in Spain. One that you didn't mention, Air Europa, actually happens to be a Skyteam associate member. They used to have a direct BCN-SVQ flight, but it's been axed. Spanair and Clickair both offer direct flights between the two cities. Vueling also do, but they're in the process of being merged into Clickair, and the combined entity may be chopping and changing things. As a result of this, I'd recommend you stick to JK. Their seat pitch is abysmal (and it's equally bad in business class), but the flight is short and you will survive. The first JK flight arrives BCN at 11:10, meaning that you can easily make your connection (as long as you're travelling with handluggage).
