I'd take the $400 in a heartbeat.

If it was $100, I'd stay in C on the 747-400. That seat is worth an extra $100 for 1900 flight miles.

Of course, if I was booked in C, and they offered me the 150% F bonus for the bump (instead of the 125% for C), that would play a role, as well...
