As others have said, Cuban originating goods may not be imported into the US (except under specific cases when a license is granted by the Department of Treasury).

The Office of Foreign Asset Control, part of the Treasury Dept, is the final authority and their will is enforced by US Customs & Border Protection.

The most likely outcome if you are caught is that the Cuban goods would be seized while you play dumb and are allowed to walk away without penalty.
