You will love Spain. It is a wonderful country.

None of the major carriers in Spain (Spanair or Iberia) are partners with Delta. All the domestic flights from SVQ will arrive in Terminal B or C. Your Delta flight will leave from terminal A. You can easily walk between terminals and there are moving sidewalks.

You can also take the Ave train from SVQ to Madrid (about 2.5 hours) and then switch to the high-speed train to BCN (another 2.5 hours) and you could spend a half day in Madrid if you wanted.
