If you look closely, there are only five rows in the left pair and the middle three - the seat map in fact shows accurately that 8HJ are not much further forward than 9ABDEF. Attention to detail friends.
oops! duh! AA connected the seats across the starboard aisle with a diagonal line to show they are in the same row... not 42 seats, but 37... an odd way to draw it, but still, oops!
