I know it's a long shot, but... we are flying on Malaysia Airlines out of AMS with our 9 m.o. Obviously, we want to take plenty of supplies for the 12 hour + flight, and you can't keep formula for more than a few hours...

Malaysia Airlines own regulations specifically state that water for infant formula is exempt from the liquid rules. Since AMS security is at the gate (I assume for flights to Asia too?), anyone think we have a chance of getting more than 100ml water through? Personal anecdotes welcome...
