Hi Clubman
As you can see by 'Shuttles' post, we do tend to upgrade free of charge to anything diesel if Passat Bluemotion is not available, and yes the Alfa diesel and Audi A4 is often given out as a substitute.
Sorry missed your excess question....
Excess is £500, even if an upgrade is given, the excess for the original car group booked stands,despite it being that a superior car group has a larger excess.
