IMO, the time to do this is long past - most of those who were going to bail (myself included) did so when US revoked minimum miles earlier this year. As has been stated here many, many, many times, THAT's why they're not getting complaints on the bonus miles, NOT because people value free upgrades more, as TC seems to believe.
