Renaissance M Street (in DC) has some high-def. One channel/program consisted of nothing but long shots of waterfalls and jungle scenes. The best television programming I've seen in ages! Seriously, it was beautiful to gaze at.
What I'm trying to figure out is the Marriott TV commercials where, at the flick of button, the room suddenly converts into some sort of super-screen media center. I don't think they're broadcast any more, but I've seen them on the in-room channels. What is that commercial trying to tell me? The best I can figure is that you can use the big screen for you laptop monitor (yawn) and your ipod (gosh).
I'd be happy if they'd just include a DVD player in the room. None of the Marriotts (or Hiltons) I've seen have this.
