I cannot comment on the Ren...I've never stayed there. The MVCI Grande Vista is a resort in the truest sense. I have stayed in a 1 Bedroom, it was nearly 900 Sq. Feet-newly updated with Granite counter tops-a full kitchen w/washer and dryer. The high ceilings give it a airy feel. The food offerings are limited, I suppose because most people have a kitchen at the resort(??) they do have Pizza, a pool bar offering limited menu food, an ice cream stand (can't remember the brand)-etc. it is clean and fresh, their main pool is above average. They won't give you any upgrades---they don't 'recognize' you as a Marriott Rewards member-they are privately owned by MVCI owners. We found the Villas refreshing---plenty of room to relax, including a screened balcony. HTH
