In November, I will be flying one-way PHX-SFO with SmilingGirl on Ted.

I am on a M&M international business class award with LH as the TATL segment, SmilingGirl's flight was purchased separately. I am LH*G, SmilingGirl is LH*S.

I assume I get access to E+ with my ticket (after all I would get a seat in F if it was available on the flight)?

How much would it cost to purchase E+ access for this flight for SmilingGirl? I didn't see the option to purchase it when I booked the ticket for her last week, and I can't see the option in My Itineraries on united.com. Can I do it on the phone? At check-in?

Which seats should we get?
