I was wondering when this article would be linked to here on FT. I saw it yesterday and was about to start a thread with a link to the article, once I stopped laughing.
What a rib, the FAA criticizing Israel for "a lack of proper supervision, overcrowded airspace, and outdated technology." In order:
1) supervision at FAA is such an example of efficiency and productivity. Why, it managed to get NextGen operational ... uh, nevermind.
2) re: overcrowded airspace, see LGA, JFK, EWR, ORD,...
3) outdated technology - what, X-ray machines there are from the 1950's, compared to those in the U.S. from the 1960's.
