(Please don't tell anybody I posted this ... ) This week's News of the World has a £5 off £30 spend coupon for Tesco valid to Saturday 2.8.08. For those of us who wouldn't buy the NOTW, the discount works out at £4.05 - £5 less the 95p cost of the rag.

The Tesco 5p/litre off fuel for £50 spend is continuing. It was due to disappear about now, but I wonder if it will continue now that:
- the wholesale price of oil is down 5% in the past two weeks or so;
- the spot price is down 10% or so;
- other supermarkets and some fuel companies have reduced their pump prices;
- BA and other airlines have reduced their fuel surcharges by 10%.

Er, I made the last bit up.
