I did CLT-DEN-CLT this past week with my wife and on the way out (dinner flight) seated in 2A & 2C we had no problems with selecting our meal which was a good thing as one entree was the salmon and I don't eat fish. My wife, who happens to be a major fan of salmon, said it was extremely well prepared and tasted great for an airline meal. I had the chicken which came with a polenta cake and veggies. It was a nice meal but the chicken was a bit salty however. Had a very strange dessert, a rubarb apple thing. Not sure exactly as the FA did not know what it was. It was okay but nothing to rave about.

On the return yesterday (breakfast flight) seated in 4A (wife flew back on Tuesday) I had my choice of either omellet or yogurt. Omellet was good but the diced ham and potatoes were a bit greasy so did not consume all of them. The fresh fruit was nice addition. Seatmate had the yogurt which looked good as well.

I noticed that they boarded 10 omlettes and 6 yogurts for the meals. Seemed like everyone got what they wanted.

Our FA on DEL-CLT 1522 was AWESOME! Did it all by herself and provided excellent service. Seems like she really enjoys her job. While taking orders she explained that once she takes everyone's orders she would bring drinks to everyone then bring the meal followed by an immediate check on everyone to see if they needed a drink refill.

Flight was about 3 hours so no snack basket prior landing but an additional drink service was provided. Not complaining as I was not hungrey that soon after breakfast so was happy to avoid the carb basket.
