need info on the baggage restrictions for United. I am utilizing an award ticket from US Airways, Diviendend Miles to fly United, Pittsburgh to Las Vegas, returning Orange County to Pittsburgh each conencting thru Chicago.

United website states 2 checked bags max 50 lbs each with additional cost for over 50lbs.

US AIrways states 2 checked bags, 70 lbs each.

I have one bage of camera equipment 68lbs and one bag of personal/clothing to take.

Which requirements will apply and if I must abide by Uniteds req. is there anyway of NOT having to pay the additional fee for overlimit?

My goal is to take 2 checked 68 lb bags on United. All ideas and suggestions are welcome.
