On further checking it was the
Clarion Hotel Airport - and prior to that the
Executive Guest House. It is indeed an older building, and that explains the strange non-HGI layout and the older window glass - that last bit will undoubtedly cost them a lot in energy costs.
And,
IcHot, I can't describe how apologetic I feel for not mentioning the heliport.

(Yeah, ROFL, I DID have some free time on my hands, and if you ever go there, you'll know almost as much as if you had stayed there previously, and I filled that empty time.)

This hotel is not a new-built HGI, but was renovated in the last couple of years after being something else previously. While there were extensive renovations, I don't recall them replacing the windows from the original. This would also explain some of the odd layouts.
