Since we're on the subject, Negra Modelo isn't, strictly speaking, a "Mexican" beer. Yes it's brewed in Mexico, but it is actually the last remaining example of a Viennese lager which was first brewed in Mexico by Austrian immigrants.

This type of beer (supposedly) isn't brewed in Austria anymore, making for an interesting story.
