Totally agree about the Dan hotel. I stayed there in April, and it was really below my expectations, which were low already given that I have been to Israel a few times and knwo what the general level of service there is. The interesting thing is that when I met locals and told them where I was staying, they were all very impressed. If only they knew the truth! I think I am going to try one of the sheratons next time
