Actually, you can buy them through AA as well, but theirs actually show your elite status, which to me would be half the point of buying them through an airline directly-- wish CO and UA did this!! ...
I think you can upload your own image - just scan your Elite card, or make your own CO Logo card in Photoshop with "I AM A PLATINUM" on the image
