You are right on target! Not the first time I have left AUS at 0600 and then flown back on that late flight from ORD, getting in at 0030 Sunday morning.
It is a long day, but not as long as some I did to SEA where I did not leave Sea-Tac until 11 p.m. or so, flew to LAX then DFW and did not arrive AUS until 1000 or 1100 on Sunday morning.
Since I only have a one-hour layover in PDX, I assume I'll fly ORD-PDX and then fly back on the same aircraft.
