LA, aka Lan Airlines, aka Lan Chile is the lead Lan of the group. The offspring are: LP, aka Lan Peru; XL, aka Lan Ecuador; and Lan Argentina.

For those of us that aren't a Oneworld FF, Lan is a partner of AS. But beware, you can only earn miles for LA-operated flights. My LP flights were denied mileage credit which is insane since Lan is Lan is Lan these days and the website doesn't differentiate.

So along with the new YYZ-JFK promo fares of $79 each way, the all in fare is $223 which is awesome!
