This woman was not telling anybody. Trust me. Reprimanded and told to return to her seat, she did exactly that and then sat in her own filth for over an hour. She couldn't get off the plane without public embarrassment.
Her husband said he tried to help her but she wouldn't let him.
She was "that" embarrassed...

People aren't always willing to share "why" they have to use the lav, even in an emergency.
