Spirit LEAVING Islip

In May we purchased tickets from Islip to Ft Lauderdale. By chance I checked my reservations using my record locator and noticed my departing airport had been changed from Islip to La Guardia !!!! I was NEVER notified of this change. I went to the airport and found out that Spirit is leaving Islip at the end of the month. Luckily I was given a refund but I am still trying to get my baggage fee back that I prepaid.
Calling customer service is a joke. The girl kept repeating that the baggage fee is nonrefundable. I hung up on her and filed a dispute with my credit card company.
My friend who is traveling with me went to the airport to get her refund. Unfortunately there was a Spirit flight boarding . The flight was full and there were people there that who unknowingly had their departing airport changed to LaGuardia. It was total bedlam!!!
I will never fly Spirit again.
