Tried to book 2 business class seats to Barcelona from Toronto. No surprise that nothing is available in September (I know I should have booked months ago).

Was wondering if any FTers could suggest any way of going business class to Barcelona via KLM or Air France as I have a large quantity of Avion points that could be used to buy an economy ticket and then ideally upgrade to Business class on KLM or AF from there? Is this possible? Or is there another strategy that could be used?

Any and all comments welcome!
