At least when I go to Brooks Bros., I know I'm getting their "sale" price, especially on the non-iron shirts which are (I think) at their lowest price during their semi-annual wardrobe sale.
Yes this annoys me about Jos.Banks too. I could never bring myself to pay retail there because everything always seems to be 50% at some point. I would prefer if they would just price lower to begin with and have smaller sales.
Also, if you work for medium/large business ask if you qualify for their preferred program, gives you a discount on regular priced merchandise and faster tailoring or something. When they added me I saw them looking through their system to find my company and it seems like they had 100s of companies on the list.
