don't know if a universal will work but I will try soon. I am guessing it will not work because even the menu button on the side has been disabled.

I just noticed this marriott I am in (using $10 ibahn internet - ugh) has a AV, VGA and HDMI connection behind the desk but they are not hooked up to anything. Also they seem to be inputs. What could this possible be for? very weird if you ask me.

I first noticed this in a residence inn about 1 year ago and the problem seems to still exist in most marriott properties that have the 32" LG's.
