Correct. The only 777 flight is out of MIA, so that would be the only flight on which you could upgrade to F. From MIA, you also have the choice of a daytime flight. Finally, MIA-GRU is about 2 hours shorter than DFW-GRU (this is good or bad depending on whether you need the additional miles or not).
