be happy its only an hour...I'd much rather book an hour than 2 or 3. I've gotten off planes, walked to the next terminal and found my gate in under 20 minutes. With an hour you'd have some extra time to stop and grab a bite or hit the restroom without a problem.

In my experience with airtran they start the boarding process very early, so it would be possible that you could arrive at the gate durring the boarding process, but its not a big deal. They usually wait till 10 minutes prior to do 'final' and take standbys...you just have to tell yourself that your not late, they're just early
