Not being familiar with elite benefits on US, I don't really have a feel for what UA elites are supposed to get. My understanding is that we can priority board and that we have some sort of priority standing on the waitlist for full flights, but what about seating? I know we can't use UA miles to upgrade, but since US has no economy plus, is it just the same old coach seat that everyone gets? I've also heard that US doesn't block middle seats. Can anyone confirm this?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like US fliers get a much better deal on UA than vice versa.
