The security and fuel charges on my BA CW LAX-LHR-LAX ticket this month is about $524! Don't get me wrong. I'm still a BA fan and am grateful for the ticket but last night a friend said that his award ticket -LAX-CDG-LAX American Airlines converted to Air France had a security/fuel charge of about $100. Is this possible? I know these charges are higher at LHR than other airports but.....
