A true gift is ok, but I wouldn't split hairs on what a gift is. DL is very effective at catching buyers and sellers. You might not lose your account and status as a buyer, but if you are caught they will certainly not honor the ticket. The envelople with a "gift" inside is not a gift in DL's eyes.
