Now, now. Be nice to the new poster. There are plenty of abbreviations which British people make of American (and other) businesses. They're a fact of life, no matter where you're from. And no one is beyond reproach.



To the OP: I know those taxes seem high, but they're not incorrect. BA include fuel surcharges in the fees of the redemption tickets. CW taxes than economy tickets. Departing and arriving into LHR is more than most other airports.

It's really expensive, and please do gripe if it makes you feel better, but you can't really do much to change it except for take your business elsewhere.
