I used a $200 voucher last month. Called the 1K desk to hold the res, asked when DEN would be open for ticketing the next day, and arrived during the window. No hassles (other than the long wait in line).
Had I been told DEN wasn't doing ticketing, I'd have called the 1K desk to confirm that DEN was supposed to be ticketing, and then found a supervisor.
