I'm 15000 skymiles short of what I need for a family trip. I've seen people selling the envelope and including the miles for free. I suspect this means that it's illegal to sell skymiles. Is doing the transaction this way going to put my account at risk?

Does anybody have 15000 skymiles they would like to donate for a good cause?
