Indeed, that's true. Only the "Fred Flintstone house" is the G rated name for the place, used by newscasters. In our family, that house has always been known as the "Pile of S*** House." Currently it is painted sorta orange, suggesting that whoever my title refers to eats a lot of carrots.
I think this house is cool. Since it sold the past two times within a couple of hours of being put on the market, others apparently agree with me.
Regardless, it's a huge landmark, at least northbound 280. I always watch for it, and smile.
