You can have your camera upload the data to a remove system via a
wireless link. There is always a way.. as long as you are willing to spend
the money.
You could be taking pictures in Australia and backing them up in US
almost instantaneously.
And there's the woman who got her pictures back this way *AFTER* the camera got stolen! Apparently it got within range of a wireless with the same (factory default) settings as her own router for which it was configured.
