The AS F service on the West Coast/NV flights that aren't the SEA-SFO/LAX runs is basically a big chair, a snack basket/danish/scone, and drinks.

AS F out of SFO will likely be a light HOT meal (if my recent SEA-LAX trip is the correct gauge) or crudites late, plus the aforementioned chair/drinks.

VX's F product blows both of them away (more so the OAK). Considerably. It's not really very close. Whether or not it's worth the additional $135/pp going from SFO VS to OAK AS is up to you, certainly, but you probably want VX F out of SFO as opposed to AS if you're paying full freight and the costs are the same.
