og, refer to the second part of eoinnz's post. That first part you quote is mainly relevant to those who are not satisfied with the product whether it's happens to be faulty or not.

Limitation of Liability
Any liability of Alpha, Qantas or their related bodies corporate (as defined in the Corporations Act 2001) in connection with this catalogue any goods supplied to you will, to the maximum extent permitted by law, at our election be limited to:

1. the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods; or
2. the payment of the cost of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods. ...

Returns & Exchanges

In Sky Shopping purchases come with a 'money back' guarantee and all products come with a 1 year warranty (or more if specified). All returned products, except where required by law, must be either returned:

1. On board on the same day and sector as the original purchase; or
2. Within 28 days of purchase with proof of purchase, unused, undamaged and with the original wrapping.

If you change your mind, return of unsuitable products is at your own cost and will not be reimbursed by Qantas or Alpha Flight Services. If you request an exchange, duty, taxes and a A$25 handling charge apply.

For faulty products, Alpha Flight Services will happily organise a refund (in the form of your initial payment method) or a replacement, in which case Alpha will pay all duty, taxes and postage.

Refunds will not be processed until the returned product is received by Alpha Flight Services. It is your responsibility to ensure the products are adequately packaged to prevent damage during transit. Please keep proof of postage. Otherwise, if the parcel goes missing, we will deem you not to have returned the products.
