Is it absolutely, positively clear that tickets need not be booked on the web site to get the promo miles? Just out of curiority I asked [email protected] this question, and a week later came the reply that only tix purchased on ual.com qualify. I don't believe this, as I've not seen it anywhere in the offer text, but still, it left me wondering.....
