WARNING: 'Credit Card Problems' 10/03/2008. Just tried to book:
LAS-LAX in US F
LAX-LHR in UA F
for 25,000 miles and 206.00 cash. The booking is there and done (good agent) but apparently there are CC processing problems ('your card is declined, but it's a problem on our side') today. I was requested to call back tomorrow and try to pay.
All well and good, but how hard would it be for the Call Centre to note down bookings which couldn't be completed today and proactively call them up when things are fixed?
