Yeah I echo the sentiment about stopping in LA. You don't get 500 eqms for it anymore, so it's really not worth it on the mileage basis, but you do get to use only 5 e500s, instead of 6.

Something to consider as well - if you're going to be flying this route every 6 weeks, if you toss in a few other flights to various places in the year, you'll hit premier exec, which will enable you to get the ugpgrade more often and get the 100% mileage bonus.
