A few additional comments .....

Transportation

I travel from the North Bay, when I do connect to BART, I find it a very pleasant ride to the international terminal. Just connect to the airports tram and no worries.

Parking

When I drive, on quick trips I typically park in the international parking garage. The higher cost outways the convenience of long term options.

Security

SFO has a premium screening line as well as the 'Clear' program. I frequently fly the early AM flights out of SFO and that portion of the process is never a hassle.

Boardroom

Opens at 0600. Friendly service and good coffee.

I used OAK exclusively starting in the late 80's and it was wonderful! Parking could be had less than 100 yards from the check in counter, the screening line was walk-up, and the MD80's were new.

I have returned a few times in the more recent past and have had to park out on Doolittle, waited for 45 minutes in the security line which snaked out to baggage claim, and flew on old MD80's

I can agree on the fog - although I can remember I've gotten bit by the fog in OAK too.

Safe Travels!
