When I click on my reservation, it provides me the opportunity to pay to apply for a space available upgrade to a room with a better view.

Here is a hotel, Tapatio Cliffs, where Diamonds not infrequently get upgraded, for free, to a room far superior to the one they are asking me to pay extra for.
