Last year I tried to get an award ticket for a relative. Since both have different last names I was told by UA I need to go to the nearest UA ticket office to sign and pickup the ticket.
This year I orderd an AWARD for the same person on the same route and UA says no problem we can mail the ticket to your address in the next 5 to 10 days if I you pay the tax now.
Go figure.
