I stayed there less than a year ago, and it was a standard CY, helpful staff, nothing special, but perfectly adequate for the LAX area. There is a free shuttle which runs once/twice hourly all the way to Manhattan beach (it stops at the Radisson nearby, and a few other hotels along Century blvd. I almost never see this hotel discounted, although this may change if the economy continues sliding south.
