I often use the -25% code & on about 50% of the occasions they appear as a non-qualifying stay.
"I used to report them as a points discrepancy but often got the standard reply "deeply discounted rates - blah -blah".
I e-mail [email protected] or [email protected] with something like -

• I cannot understand why this stay was not eligible for points.
• I used exactly the same rate code to book previous stays that did attract points - maybe give example
• I cannot understand this inconsistency.
• I certainly would not have booked this stay if it wasn’t going to attract points & as I had received points for previous “Exclusive Rate” stays I think it is not unreasonable to expect them

They then credit the points (including bonus) absolutely 100% of the time.
